Happy birthday Aquarius! You have one of the loveliest months for all of 2012 with very few to upset your Festival of Me! The month starts with the Sun in your solar first house of personality until 19 February, joined by Mercury until 14 February. There aren’t that many aspects to be honest, but all of them are good. Your sign rules friendships and two lovely aspects on 2 and 5 February indicate that a kindness or generosity of spirit you extended to your pals in the past will be repaid two-fold at least. These two dates are great for seeing your mates and partying! You’ll also love the energy and atmosphere of the Full Moon of 7 February which is great for getting a crowd around, after perhaps treating yourself like a king or queen to some beauty treatments and a few new trendy outfits!

That day, Saturn goes retrograde in your solar ninth house of travel until 26 June. A long-distance trip may get delayed or you may decide against having a holiday until later in the year. Since the ninth house rules legal matters as well, you may have to cool your heels waiting to hear from your – or their – solicitor. On 13 and 18 February, you may plan your interstate or overseas trip – allowing plenty of room for contingencies – as a belated birthday celebration. I suspect your holiday, when you finally take it, will be less about fun, and more to do with duty or perhaps it becomes a short break tagged on the end of a work conference or industry expo. Some of you may decide to launch your own website or blog or to start writing a book then. And for some Aquarians, they may decide to realise a long-held dream to go (back) to university.

Birthday money seems to be flowing in very generously this month thanks to your having up to four planets in your solar second house of income including Neptune from 3 February, Venus until 8 February, Mercury on 14 February and the Sun on 19 February with birthday offers, discounts, refunds, rebates, mates’ rates, member benefits and special perks likely. But try to save at least some of the cashflow coming your way as you have a potentially difficult retrograde Mars in your solar eighth house of shared resources until mid-April. This points to delays in being paid and arguments over loans, debt, joint accounts and funds which are rightfully yours, whether they’re tax refunds or will bequests. Take care regarding money matters on 1 and 23 February.

Neptune’s arrival here will make even the straightest, most conservative Aquarian adopt a more hippy-ish approach to materialism, that is, it’s all meant to be shared. If I can offer one bit of advice, you need to be aware that you will become incredibly trusting around your finances and that con artists will be able to spot you a mile away. Don’t drink and click (shop online when you’ve had a few wines) and don’t fall for sob story chain letters, either.  You could receive one of the most romantic Valentine’s Day gifts ever – whether it’s your birthday or not – on 14 February and again, someone will seemed to have read your mind for a wonderful, thoughtful present to delight you with on 19 February.

Your family may surprise you with a generous gift and/or provide an extravagant and really fun birthday party on 16 and 25 February, which are also, strangely enough, wonderful dates to sell or lease your home for a great price. If you want to discuss a raise, bonus, higher commission or bigger client with your boss, choose 18 and 28 February when you will know exactly the right way to broach the topic of finances. From the New Moon of 21 February you will be keen to overhaul your money situation, and may want to double-check and revise everything from superannuation returns and your mortgage package to your credit card rates and share portfolio growth.

Once charming Venus enters your solar third house of communication on 8 February, joining Uranus already there, you’ll be in constant contact with loved ones via phone, email, text, and in person. You may also be busy dealing with a range of social invites as well as the purchase of quite a few more electronic gizmos for your home and personal use. You could receive some of the most amazing news on 10 February, possibly from your brother or sister, via a neighbour, or to do with your community. This transit may spark your interest in writing too and you may have an opportunity to speak on the radio or guestwrite a piece on a favourite topic of yours. Be very careful not to reveal an important secret in the heat of a squabble on 15 February; alternatively, someone may say something rather hurtful to you. A friend will cheer you up with some wonderful news or just with his/her company on 19 February.
