Capricorn
Capricorn
December 22 to January 20
With the zodiac’s maverick planet Uranus in your solar fourth house of home and family for some years now, joined by Mercury until 9 May, domestic upheavals and more twists and turns than an episode of The Twlight Zone are likely. Some of you may receive wonderful news on 3 May that a much-loved family member is coming to stay, which will make you sweep, clean, bake and prepare the guest room ahead of their stay. Others may be happy about a job-sharing arrangement which gives them time with adults and time with the kids while still other Cappies may have a fantastic networking lunch which results you in getting some extra freelance or consulting work you can do from home. Your boss or clients are extremely demanding however of you on 5 May, which, being a Saturday, may not make life easy for your family. Or perhaps you get some news – which you know your family won’t like – and plan to tell them on the weekend. Just don’t choose Saturday!
Never mind! Are you planning a rather action-packed holiday? While Mars went direct in your solar ninth house of travel on 13 April after being retrograde since 24 January, he will take up to 20 June to fully retrace his steps so you may be in the process of booking a busy holiday between now and then which will have lots of walking around at the very least, and some extreme sports (at worst IMO). You’ll feel particularly excited about this on 16 May if you depart then. You could come home feeling and looking like a new (wo)man and if a makeover (extreme or otherwise) is on your agenda, the stars are with you.
And that’s not all… Lots of fun is in store for you this month with the Sun in your solar fifth house of love and creativity until 21 May, joined by Mercury on 9 May and Jupiter all month. Yes, the Lurrve Train has pulled into Capricorn platform and it’s time for you to get on board! Single Capricorns may decide to quit hanging out with their buddies and concentrate on finding their One and Only on the Full Moon of 6 May while married Cappies may “see” their relationship through the eyes of their friends. If you’re single, you may well meet someone who captures your heart, mind, soul and imagination on 10 May (they’re sweet, softly-spoken and have a gentle air about them.) but if you’re already spoken for, this is a beautiful day to tell them how much you love them, and yes, it’s fine to be a little sooky about it. Your kids may enjoy hearing all about the day they were born and how you fell in love, too.
The three best dates for you however are 13, 14 and 22 May. Each planet is in a fellow Earth sign meaning that all systems are go for you! 13 and 22 May are both fun, optimistic and cheerful for love, romance, and ideal Date Nights as well as being exciting for planning your interstate or overseas holiday. If you have kids you’ll really enjoy their company now and if you don’t have l’enfants, you may want to bite the bullet and try to get pregnant! Many of you may feel quite inspired about the idea of going (back) to university. On 14 May you can have the most soulful, intense encounters as if someone can say exactly what you’ve always been thinking. Say what you need to say today to heal relationships with those you love.
As you already know, Venus entered your solar sixth house of work and health on 3 April, where she won’t clock off until 7 August. With Venus here, you may notice three main patterns. The first is that she improves your relationships with your boss, colleagues, clients and suppliers, making you somewhat of the company “pet” whom everyone adores. The second is that your rising popularity makes it easy for you to charm you way into getting better perks, a nicer office, better behavior from your co-workers and your preferences on particular projects. It is also easier for headhunters to place you now as you will be offered more roles! The third pattern is that you will want to look cute in your suit so you’ll find it easier to quit chocolates, cheese and cigarettes and take up daily exercise while increasing your fruits and veggies.
However, Venus goes retrograde from 15 May through to 1 July so if you want to secure a new job, get your role approved before 15 May. If not, a promising new role may be delayed until early July. In other cases, a personal friend of yours at work may temporarily depart, making you miss him or her or you may discover that charm is no substitute for substance when it comes to getting the job done. Anyone who’s popular, but been “coasting” will get uncovered at work. In health terms, you may be mildly upset to discover an old illness or affliction has returned.
Venus is joined by the Sun and Mercury on 21 and 25 May respectively. You should try to schedule a meeting with your boss, biggest client, most talented headhunter or an industry VIP on 17 May to discuss your next moves: I think you’ll like their assessment! Do watch out for gossips and slackers making trouble unnecessarily at work on 23 and 25 May – their malaise could spread very quickly with your colleagues. Equally, there could be some vitriolic comments on blogs and social media (and if you’re in that position, in broadcast or printed media) about your business which could be very damaging on 30 May – take care!
Whatever you may have been discussing with your family in connection with work may come up again on 27 and 28 May. There’s some thrilling news which requires you to create an unusual domestic solution (perhaps around housework, homework or childcare) while you juggle exciting work options. Many of you may create your own website that you can run from home while others may hire employees to join the (family) business. Be daring and innovative now!
