You can make a business meeting go to your advantage or encourage a colleague to connect you with someone useful on 3 May with Mercury in your solar sixth house of work and health. You may have some revolutionary ideas about the workplace (who says it needs to have cubicles?), colleagues, suppliers or KPIs with maverick Uranus also here for several years. But you’re up against those who disagree with your thoughts (“We’ve always done it like this!”) and may be relentlessly knocking you down behind your back, with the worst of it on 5 May. That is not the day to suggest something new to your boss or client!

However, you will absolutely adore being part of a couple this month with the Sun in your solar seventh house of relationships until 21 May, joined by Mercury on 9 May and Jupiter all month. You may push a little hard for a resolution on a partnership matter however on the Full Moon of 6 May. Your partner may be more winsome, soft and tender than usual on 10 May, making this an ideal day to discuss having children, or if you have them, how you can be the best parents ever. If you’re involved but not committed, this day may help you take the plunge!

But even better than 10 May are three wonderful dates on 13, 14 and 22 May. Being single now is highly unlikely with witty, fascinating potential companions coming into your life on those dates. Scorpios in relationships enjoy each other’s company on 13 May and will have fun double-dating with other couples. If you want to move in together, get engaged or get married today the stars give it the big five-starred thumbs-up! In fact, your friends (or a club or group) may boost your chances in some way. The day afterwards on 14 May is your kind of day, where you can get your partner (potential or current) to open up about your relationship and say what he or she really wants. Being honest now with each other will take you both to a new level together. Just in case it’s all getting a bit too intense for your partner (it can never get too intense for you), you get to joke, laugh and lighten up in each other’s company all over again on 22 May.

Scorpio naturally rules the solar eighth house of shared resources and Venus has begun a record stay here, not leaving until 7 August. You know full well that this house rules not only money and resources that you own with others, but also sex, which pleases you very much (the activity, not the knowledge). Unfortunately she also goes retrograde from 15 May through to 1 July. This does not necessarily mean it’s a nookie-free zone for six weeks. Since the eighth house rules joint bank accounts, you may be dismayed to enter a period when the bills are coming in faster than you can pay them, let alone save anything. Your partner’s spending habits may have contributed to this so money could be tight. However, you have an extremely positive day on 17 May when you may have a private chat with a financial adviser or, if things have got bad, to get your partner to realize that he or she must cut up his/her credit cards. You may also receive a highly useful tip on how you can legally minimize your tax or be touched to discover that you have been mentioned as a will beneficiary.

Venus is joined by the Sun and Mercury on 21 and 25 May respectively. You should be aware right now that your lover or children could guilt you into debt by begging for some particular stylish “thing” on 23 and 25 May – stay away from the shops! In other cases, they may lie to you in relation to a bill or a debt that hasn’t been paid. Friends may irritate with you with their expectation that you should “shout” them a meal and/or drinks when you catch up – this is worst on 30 May. However, you may create one of the most imaginative, innovative approaches to growing your wealth with others on the excellent 27 and 28 May. It seems that a colleague, client or supplier is willing to give you a good deal, an unexpected introduction or will confer on you some type of preferred status. On a completely different note, you may become inspired to get fit so you can look better naked!
