With Leo on your solar fourth house cusp, you just lurrve luxe interiors and this month you’re likely to want to upgrade your west wing, with Venus until the 7th, Mercury until the 11th and the Sun until your 23rd in your solar fourth house of home and family. Great days to throw a family clambake, decorate (go on, treat yourself to yet another cashmere throw to snuggle against), go house-hunting, meet the local real estate raptor (sorry, professional), steal ideas from the latest Architectural Digest, or hire a range of tradies and repair people include the New Moon of the 1st, 5th, 9th and 21st.

If you’re trying to have kids, these are also particularly good days to get in the family way (so be careful if you don’t want a horde of Mini Mes!) and equally excellent if you want to consolidate family wealth – perhaps you could all go in on an investment property? Take anything you hear that’s house- or family-related with an enormous bucket on salt on the 6th and 15th and expect to have a certain home or family situation end or (hope for the best!) resolved on the Full Moon of the 16th 

The other emphasis this month is love, sweet love. Normally, slow to fall romantically, this month you’ll be like Angelina Jolie (pre-kids) with five planets in your solar fifth house of love and creativity! You’ve got sex-mad Mars there until the 20th, joined by lovely Venus from the 7th, witty Mercury from the 11th, the Sun from the 23rd and Saturn until October 2009. If that doesn’t boost your romantic action, you must be living in a cave or praying at a shrine, or married. Only joking! If you’ve forgotten how much fun kids can be, this month will remind you and if you’re sans enfants, you could think about having your own. You’ll want to get serious about love, maybe even discuss settling down on the 13th and 15th, and could enjoy some very fun and indulgent romantic days on the 17th, 18th and 21st. If, after all this, you still haven’t met someone, expect yet another chance to overhaul your love life from the New Moon of the 31st. However, romantic events could go right off the rails with lovers’ tiffs all too possible on the 6th and 17th (from lunchtime), incredible restlessness on the 23rd, and obsessiveness likely on the 28th and 29th.
